Ars gratia artis.

(Art for art's sake.)

In the beginning, words were considered magic. Once readers saw them, the etchings would evoke vivid colours, hallucinate sounds, and incite sensations.

There’s magic in the written word, still. Let’s raise hell with a touch of heaven.

'Songs of God and Pleasure'

My debut poetry book, out now.

'Songs of God and Pleasure' is a short collection of poems that begins as an exploration of a woman's internal universe of sensuality within a universe abandoned by God. Themes range from art and beauty to love and sex, bringing tribute to the expansiveness of the human experience. All the poems tell one story, one narrative of loss of faith and self-abandonment through hedonism followed by rediscovering hope, gratitude, and love.

'Cheap Hotel Philosophy'

My second poetry book, out now.

'Cheap Hotel Philosophy' is an exercise in making the incoherent coherent through rhyme. In a universe in which the colours of Matisse are more comforting than the word of God, we find a philosophy inspired by Nietzsche that ends up sounding like a cliché pop song. Exploring the sacred and the profane, biblical Edens and dirty dive bars in equal measure, these poems end the night spilling their vodka on your jeans and asking for a ride home.
